Water treatment

Water filters foul with biofilm, and the dosing treatments that fight it are used up and must be replenished. The NanoFlashing™ technology takes a different position. It gives conventional filtration media a permanent positive polarity, engineered into the material itself during manufacturing, with nothing to dose and nothing to replenish. It requires no power and does not deplete in use. NanoFlashing™ is being developed for water filtration media and water contact surfaces, helping capture waterborne contaminants.

Personal protective wear

Personal protective wear (PPW™) is designed to reduce contamination. NanoFlashing™ gives conventional fabrics a permanent positive polarity, and is being developed for healthcare, industrial, and frontline workers. On the platform's tested media, NanoFlashing™ captures and destroys viruses, bacteria and fungal spores on the media, by physical action.

Spoilage starts where food meets its packaging, and treatments that migrate into the food are used up while the food is still on the shelf. The NanoFlashing™ technology gives conventional packaging materials a permanent positive polarity, engineered into the material itself during manufacturing. The property is permanent and non-migrating. It requires no power and does not deplete in use.
